Every vehicle on Zimbabwean roads needs a current ZINARA vehicle licence, and a licence is only issued against valid motor insurance. The price depends on your vehicle class and the period, and it is shown before you pay. If a previous licence has lapsed, any arrears are worked out from the expiry date on file and shown in the same breakdown, so there are no surprises at the counter.
